Wedding photography is no more about posed appearances with forced smiles. The advent of technology has completely changed the way our wedding albums look. Thus it is time to bid adieu to the traditional albums and switch to candid photography.
Ashish Pareek, a successful candid photographer from Delhi shares, "People have grown above the clichéd poses and formal photographs and look for something more memorable, more lively, and more enticing. They crave for something creative. And these photographs capture the most special moments in the most fanciful manner, thus bringing out the true spirit of getting married"
Pareek adds that while the traditional albums capture the attendance of people and the happening of an event, the candid photography adds life to the pictures. Praveen Kaushik, yet another candid photographer, informs, "Our idea is to give our clients the precious nitty gritty moments that they share with their family and friends."

Agrees a recently married Praveen Saxena, IT professional from Bangalore, "Owing to its huge rates at first my family was apprehensive about candid photography. They reluctantly approved for one function. But when we saw the pictures, we decided to give it a go."
Saxena is very pleased with the pictures.
"Even after ten years if we look at our wedding album, we will smile, that our marital journey started with such laughter and joy."
Besides the candid photography is not just restricted to wedding alone. The new age prefers a pre-wedding shoot as well. Ashima Thapiyal, an Advertising professional from Delhi, is about to get married in January next year. She and her fiancé got one such pre-wedding shoot a few days back.
"We wanted to treasure these 'Love is in the air' moments and hence opted for a pre wedding shoot at the Tajmahal and some streets of Agra."
And that's not all. With weddings getting bigger and better, so are the trends in photography. Yet another concept is the candid cinematography.
Informing about this fad Ashwini Solanki, a candid cinematographer says, "We turn weddings into fairytales. The video shoots at weddings are also a passé now. People spend a huge amount of sets, theme weddings, food, decorations, fashion wear, et el. All this should seem like an investment and not just a one time expenditure."
